A Prescription For Miracles

Thank you to South Carolina Drug Card for your generous donations to Prisma Health Children’s Hospital–Midlands! Since 2016, we have received more than $15,000 from the use of the South Carolina Drug Card in the Midlands. Did you know that this prescription drug card is free to all patients as well as all residents of our state? Each time a prescription is processed through the South Carolina Drug Card a donation is given to our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. It can save you up to 80% on your prescription medications at the time of purchase. It allows consumers to save on generic and brand name medications. This makes prescriptions more affordable for the uninsured and the underinsured and can be used as a supplement to most health care. Those with health insurance can also use the program on non-covered drugs.

The South Carolina Drug Card can be downloaded electronically at https://southcarolinadrugcard.com/. Physical cards are available at Prisma Health Midlands Foundation. Please contact me if you would like to schedule a time to pick up cards. Access to the South Carolina Drug Card program is completely free and available to everyone. No personal information is required to join, and there are no enrollment forms, no eligibility requirements, and no restrictions of any kind.
