Celebrate Panda Cares Day with Panda Express on August 8 and Help Prisma Health Children’s Hospital–Midlands

Prisma Health Children’s Hospital–Midlands is excited to celebrate Panda Cares Day on August 8. Why? Because Panda Express is hosting a one-day virtual fundraiser for area kids treated at our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. When a guest places an order on the Panda Express mobile app or website using the promo code “PandaCaresDay,” Panda will donate 28 percent of online sales to young patients in the Midlands.

Last year, the Killian Road and Forest Drive locations donated $13,326 in year-round collections. These two locations have raised more than $30,000 in seven years, most of it by customers rounding-up their total to the next dollar amount and donating the change.

In addition to Panda Cares Day, Panda Express has introduced a new resource for families to help engage and inspire kids during this pandemic. Panda Cub Club is a hub for kids to learn, explore, find inspiration, play, discover and build connections. Families can find activities that exercise both mind and body, deepen cultural understanding, and explore diverse American perspectives.
