Tori, the inspiration behind Extra Life.

GameStop has committed to yet another year of raising funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Associates will ask customers to donate $1, $5, $10 or round up at the register.

Customers can also join the GameStop Extra Life team. Extra Life is a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising program within the gaming community. Participants fundraise year-round and pledge to game for 24 hours with one goal: to save and improve the lives of sick and injured kids. Funds raised stay local to help pediatric patients at 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across North America.

Since 2008, Extra Life has raised more than $40 million for member hospitals. Locally, raising more than $67,000 since 2011 for Prisma Health Children’s Hospital—Midlands.

The movement, formed by gamers bonded by passion, is committed to saving and improving the lives of local kids. Play games, heal kids and join the community today at www.extra-life.org/gamestop. Tori, the inspiration behind Extra Life, will be featured as the face of the GameStop campaign.

GameStop customers can also donate up to 100 percent of trade-in value to CMN Hospitals when they bring used video game hardware, software, accessories or consumer electronics during the campaign and PowerUp Rewards points can be donated too.

We’re excited about all the new fundraising opportunities for GameStop associates and customers in year two, and we look forward to making miracles for local kids with their generous donations.
